- To coordinate and oversee day today activities of customer service, operations & CHA team to ensure smooth flow of Ocean freight Exports for business handled by Chennai office.
- Negotiate with carriers to secure competitive export Ocean freight rates to win both Nomination as well sales biz.,
- To develop & implement SOP’s for all new customers and ensure Customer service, documentation and operations team members to adhere to the guidelines framed
- Review the job file and approve vendor payments & liner payments
- To be responsible for approving all quotations related to Ocean exports prior sharing the same with overseas agents, Sales team & even RFQ’s/ Online bids.
- To be responsible for coordinating with Sales team and finance team for collection of dues from customers having credit arrangement (local and overseas as well)
- To oversee the coordination for arranging payments to carriers/ Ocean liners.
- To be responsible for the adhering to the revenue and expenditure budget approved and assigned for Ocean exports department and striving to achieve the revenue targets, while keeping expenditure at the optimum level.
